Hard Drives

            Western Digital was founded in 1970 and is headquartered in Lake Forest in California.  It has 50,072 employees.  Their major product is hard drives.  They design, make and sale these products all over the world. They are the second leading hard drive manufacturer.

            My favorite product from this company is their external hard drives.  They are decent in price and work just as well as any other external hard drive.  I currently own their Passport and My Book models.  I preferably like the Passport more though just because it is a lot more portable and does not need a power supply to function.

Sony

            Sony was founded in 1946 and is headquartered in Tokyo Japan.  There is 165,000 employees.  Sony specializes in a wide variety of electronics, games and entertainment.  The company was started by a small group of employees whose only objective was to design and create beneficial products for people.

            My favorite product so far is their Playstation 3. I am the owner of one.  I love the fact that you can sure the internet, play blue ray disks, use netflix, and save pictures, video, and audio. Although it was a little expensive, its HD capabilities is well worth it.  Equipped with a wireless controller my mobility is increased.

SanDisk

Flash Memory Drive (USB)

            San Disk was founded in 1988 and is headquartered in San Francisco Bay Area in California. It has 3,400 employees.  Their major product is flash drives.  They are the global leaders in this category.  More than half of its sales are outside the U.S.

            My favorite product is their SD flash cards.  I own about three of them.  The highest one I own is 16gb micro sd card.  I love their low prices compared to their other well known competitors.  The flash cards are reliable and I have never had a problem with one of them.
